interesting set of moves in the poll 2 checks that can be taken pretty much nullifying them, 3 escapes, and a center move that can be turned into draw in points for white, if not more.

Please vote for something, some move.
For the game, The other moves are not being good enough, They will make us to minimally lose with a pawn for the made move |

Nec6 is [STRIKE]a great way to lose a pawn[/STRIKE] a pretty good move.
Either Nx+ is kind of iffy in my book, because they get free development from the trade. Ndc6 or Nb5 are passive/not so great moves, but at least they don't do anything terribly wrong. e5 has potential, but I need to look at it more. fxe5 would be a strong response, but we could still get an even trade out of it. I'm thinking either Nec6 or e5. Edit: If we do Nec6, e5 from them would put us in a bad spot. So maybe either e5 or start the trade right now. I didn't notice that LaurV had voted though... I guess I'll go with it if SM88's okay with it. Last fiddled with by Dubslow on 2012-12-19 at 22:21 |

LaurV voted by delegate. Therefore no comment. I was in the hospital for 3 days, freaking flu. I used to get this in my country every winter, but there the temperature was -20 to -30 sometime and I never had more then a passing fever (sometime as high as 39C) stayed home few days, bla bla, but I could not imagine that someone can get "winter diseases" in Thai, where we still have +25 during the midday. Ugly fever which did not drop a dime from 38.5 for 3 days, sore throat, ugly coughing, in spite of the fact that the doctor gave me the strongest antibiotic he could find (called Carvit, a brand name for levofloxacin). After so many years in Thai (with no flu, except occasional sneezing, caused by entering and exiting from airconded rooms ond offices), either I am getting accustomed with the climate, or pure and simple, I am getting older... My daughter is interested in the game too, I captivated her with the board in the middle of the room, she joined the fray after first few moves, so even if we lose, for me it will be a big victory. I am trying to push her closer to the "big game" since she was small, but she never really likes to lose, so she would never want to play. This time she read the poll to me by phone and I told her what to vote based on the analysis for the former move. I think is clear than we capture his horse, on the way to his king  If the people vote differently, that's it... Edit: bad news is that during my absence they "destroyed" my board, and I am not allowed to set it back till after Christmas, SWMBO was very strict about. Now the place has colored lights and a Christmas tree (of course artificial, I did not see a natural one since 13 years, they don't grow here, if I tell this to my Romanian friends that I am having artificial Christmas tree, they will laugh at me till I die. In the montane area where I used to live in Ro, even the poorest guy has a natural tree, which is kept long after Christmas/New Year is gone, as ornament and also air refresher. Nothing smells like a natural Christmas tree! We have a saying, there is no Christmas in the house if it does not smell spruce and cozonac. Here the trees smell allover like old paper - that is what they are made from. And the guy who wrote the wiki article about cozonac, never ate or saw a real one in his life... but anyhow you got the idea). Last fiddled with by LaurV on 2012-12-20 at 10:03 |
