Default Loongson 3B

Is this a good processor for mprime/llr/pfgw -- supposing woltman code was written for it:

taking into account running costs?

Or has it the same performance as ARM chips?

The Loongson has a very nice microarchitecture and is actually being used for the nodes of low-cost HPC rigs. It's biggest problem right now is that nobody seems to have figured out a way to sell them outside China.

It's also a rarity: a high-performance out-of-order design that is not x86, intended for a mass market. It has big money behind it, apparently for nationalistic reasons.
