Default ⌘-A on iPad?

How do I do that so I can see all the answers on the puzzles forum? Buy an Android? Boot up my laptop?

I can 'select all' and then have it read to me but I don't like the gentleman's tone of voice. Siri is male this side of the pond but doesn't speak like Jeeves.

Perhaps I could have my own little icon to press to CTRL-A. Maybe a sheep.

(Mostly joking, I expect there is a forum-reading app for this or I am missing something obvious.)

(First one to post a YouTube link buys the first round. Are pints still 60p?)

I now have a cheapo bluetooth keyboard. ⌘-A does nothing except in text input fields etc. I even tried tripping over the earphones and cracking the screen.

How do I know you are not all talking about my paranoia?

What is ⌘ supposed to represent? I can't even type it.

`¡€#¢∞§¶•ªº–≠+-*œ∑´®†¥¨^øπ“‘«åß∂ƒ©˙∆˚¬…æΩ≈ç√∫~µ≤≥÷Ÿ⁄™‹›fifl‡°·‚—±+-*Œ„‰ÂÊÁËÈØ∏”’»ÅÍÎÏÌÓÔÒÚÆÛÙÇ◊ıˆ˜¯˘¿

There must be an Eve ⌘ somewhere back in time, all others being copies. I will print some out and keep them safe.

In the "olden days" it was called the "Meta-key". Now it's called the "Apple Key" or the "Windows Key".

If you were running a "real" operating system I'd suggest you run the "xev" command in a console and watch the output. But you aren't, so you can't....

You mean the spoiler-tagged stuff? I used to wonder how I could *en*able that, until I realized my browser settings - in this case the "don't use system or page-specified color scheme" were overriding the blackening applied by the spoiler tag.

It's a strange set-up with a physical keyboard. Some shortcuts are enabled but others aren't. Some more are enabled by switching on accesibility/voice-over.

But it's fine to type in short bits of code etc. which is why I bought it. (When I get round to it.)

I was asking my technophobe friend if he he knew what an Ipad was.

"I thought it was something you got from a chemist's shop,"
