I made my 41st loan a few days ago. So far I lost $0.04 due to currency exchange effects. I had several loans that were marked as "delinquent" for a while, because they were late or didn't pay the amount that was scheduled. But so far they all managed to get back on track again. Some even got ahead of their repayment schedule.

To date I have lost $0.09 in currency exchange and $7.35 from a loan that was made from a now closed partner (http://www.kiva.org/partners/34) with a current default rate of 0.76% (Amount of Ended Loans Defaulted / Amount of Ended Loans).
Am over 125 loans deep to date. |

Would it be (more) fun if we had a team?

More fun will be if you lend your money to me. I would buy computers and crunch for gimps, I would take care of all the electricity bills, and if I find a prime with 100M digits, we split the award
![]() I can't promise I will give you back all the money, and additionally, the computers/electronics lose value in time... hehe, they are not exactly the best investment, but hey, crunching primes is fun ... |

Not with three or four members I think. With a team a little larger the team captain (founder) can set goals such as "$5000 until Christmas" or whatever which turns into a kind of friendly competition. We do this at Seti.Germany and yes, it is fun! Plus it helps to raise funds a little faster
