Default 2011's POTY

Please link what you think is 2011's post of the year.

Funny? Insightful? Educational? Irrational? One of them will be a winner!

It is okay if the funny post requires reading a few posts before to understand.

This contest will end in about a week, so link your favorite today!

This one was from 2009 so doesn't qualify sadly. I hope it made Bob Silverman smile too.

I'll have a think about my suggestion for 2011. This is a great idea for a competition, Xyzzy.

Non-physicists may not have appreciated my classic question, Paul's "QED. QED." or Fusionpower's appreciation thereof.

Sorry to hear about CMD, but I guess there was an inevitability about it.
Some of his musical posts were enjoyable and relevant.

Talking of which, if any of you haven't heard the William Tell overture in its entirety, you must.
Ditto Antoine "Fats" Domino's Swanee River Hop

I defy any of you not to weep for joy or pathos at either of these items.

Default apologies if necessary

It was "Only Human", not "Fusion Power".
One of these days xilman will explain his UN to me.
Richard (cheesehead) has done so already, but I'll be buggered if I can remember what the explanation was.

It's tricky to find a posting which really stands out from so many entertaining and insightful ones through the year.
Still, I'll nominate this one. It actually has some relevance to this competition even though I hardly think anyone will have tried to cheat in anticipation of winning it.

Agreed, there's not enough time in the day to crawl back through the forum and really do this justice... but I'll nominate this one:

I remember not even being sure what treacle was when I read this, but it didn't matter, I still laughed out loud. And it resonated with this.

FYI, TLA are fine in most situations on GTP. IMHO you should always BC not to use 2M TLAs or DFLAs any time you write as they can often make U posts FUBAR.

FAT CHANCE.

BTW I think one character suffices IIRC.
