I heard that the North Korean leadership passes to a family member by the name of Menta Lee.

But, seriously folks, do you see what happens when you name your baby boy Kim?!? Name him Betty and he might just take over the whole damn world!

In the "it's a small world" section: I have a 1 degree of separation to one of those individuals, i.e. I know someone that knows one of them.

My spelling was indeed simply a mnenomic deriving from
an enjoyable Greek meal the other day.
In his case it is too soon to jest, which was the raison d'etre for this thread. I remember 1968 vividly.

OTOH the same does not seem to apply to the revered Korean.

I am too young to remember 1968, but 1989 is emblazoned on my memory. I actually heard Havel speak once - I went to Prague for the celebrations as the Czech Republic joined the EU, and in the afternoon of April 30th 2004 I ate sausages and ice-cream in the grounds of the Czech parliament and listened to Vaclav's speech. He said that joining the EU didn't damage the idea of Czechness, but that Czechness was damaged every time a Czech published something written in bad Czech.
