Funny enough I did that :)

I was in Brisbane. I wouldn't be able to run this farm without active cooling in Brisbane.

What I probably need is to rent a house with about 5kW solar panels.

Here in Arkansas, it's a $.05 per KwH. Not sure what the air conditioning bill does to the cost.

Honestly, though, I haven't run a distributed computing project in a few months. Just haven't felt like it, to be honest.

Any down time for Nucleon is a chance for us to try to catch up. We are getting smoked!

Fair enough! But I was thinking something along the lines of Antarctica.

And I thought I was put upon by 0.12/kWh (US). That does include all "per kWh" charges, not just the official rate.

5.9¢/kWh here, but we had a lot of other issues.

BTW for your daily consume of 63KW/h you need more solar panels.
My 5,13 KWp Solarpanels make ~27KW/h daily if the sun is shining ~12hours.
So you need more than 12 KWp Solarpanels for this Powerconsumption ;)

An article about energy use in the US by state. Apparently flash has the cheapest energy (Hint: No state with a large city in it (>1M proper residents) is in the top 10.)

So Houston (2.1 mil), San Antonio (1.3m) and Dallas (1.2 mil) don't count?

Only 9 US cities top 1 million, in 6 states:

New York City 8.18m
Los Angeles 3.80m
Chicago 2.70m
Houston 2.10m
Phoenix 1.45m
Philadelphia 1.53m
San Antonio 1.33m
San Diego 1.31m
Dallas 1.21m
