That puts it in some perspective when I realize that my contribution hasn't even hit 10k yet.
But then, he does have 18% of the results of the whole project.

edit: I notice on the top-10 graph he's actually off the scale... is that intentional rounding or a bug of sorts?

I hardly have 6000. (Then again, I've only got one CPU/GPU going at it.)

Yeah. And I'm (far) below you in the rankings...

And to put it further in persespective (at least for me), the first computer I ever owned was a TRS-80 Model One; 8-bit Z80 processor @ 1.77 MHz with 4 KB of RAM; storage was an audio tape recorder at 250 baud. Taught myself BASIC and then Z80 assembly on that.

We now all run supercomputers, and don't even think about (nor appreciate) it.

It's intentional rounding. That's my story and I'm sticking to it...

In all honesty, the graphs are produced using the GD::Graph Perl module. I feed it the data from SQL queries; it makes the decisions on the scaling.

Give it a few hours, and Craig will have produced enough results to reset the upper bound....

FYI

Just so everyone's aware:

As of a minute ago, one manual assignment TF from PrimeNet (no expo bounds specified) produced a 56.8M from 71-72 assignment. So for know at least, we definitely still need GPU272 (to get lower expos), but in the future, we should keep an eye on this.

Request: On the Released TF Level report, can you add two extra columns to the right of the total, which list how many expos have were released with and without P-1?

And of course, right now it's two minutes past the edit limit.

I now have an account (thanks to the powers that be), but for the life of me I can't figure out how to naviage to your pages on the Wiki from the Wiki's main page.

I'm probably just being stupid (it's been known to happen...).

You could:
a) click the above link
b) enter "mersenne-aries.sili.net" in the search box

(was that your question?)

On a related note, are you familiar with Wiki editing? Really, the basic markup is no more complex than forum bbcode, but ask if you get stuck

No.

Talk me though how to find your Wiki's content (clicks only) from the Wiki's home page without knowing what to search for.
