How did you deduce those two facts?

I did happen to join the team a couple days ago, and I have one of said shiny thingies, but I may not be the only one.

Because the last time I checked all this was less than a week ago, when RO announced his entry. There were 7 then, and it's not hard to figure out who the 8th is.

Under My Team/CPUs, you can get a list of all parts registered for the team. I only saw one 3930K. (It also helps that you named it that, otherwise I wouldn't have looked...

)

(I am sure now: just checked the page, and there are only 2 computers listed as i7-xxxx, and one of them is mine

)

(Also, a lot of the people on the team appear to have a wide variety of duplicate entries.)

I noticed that when I was in my account joining the team. I merged my "17" CPUs down to 8 or so. There are still a couple duplicates that won't go away because "CPU X reported results after CPU Y was created" (I still don't understand why that should prevent me from merging what I know to be duplicates of the same system).

I ran into that, too, when I tried to merge the dormant 32 bit P95 setup with the active 64 bit.

I notice chalsall has added a dropdown menu at the bottom of the View Assignments but has not mentioned it here, which I am guessing means it is still under testing (esp since I tried it and it didn't work lol).

It now offers "Regenerate Work To Do", "Extend Checked Assignments", and "Unreserve Checked Assignments".

Thanks again to chalsall for the constant improvements to GPU to 72.

Perhaps it was a work in progress, as you suggested, or still is. I only looked at the drop down before, but did not ask it to do anything. Just now, I told it to regenerate worktodo for a few assignments, and it only seemed to refresh the screen. I am guessing that that option should give back worktodo lines. I don't want to poke at Extend or Unreserve, for obvious reasons.

I guess we should just wait until the official unveiling.
