Also, the frame rate is currently 10 FPS; three seconds a month. Would 6 FPS (five seconds a month) be better?

That's a function of temporal aliasing during the sampling; completely independent from the play-back speed of the sampled data.

Was your intent to scare him off with big words?

That was all my work, and not with only one, but sometime with two, sometimes with three, gtx580 cards. My company firewall is blocking the video and my bottom will burn for the next 7-8 hours till I will reach home to watch it... :((

You can't. As I said above, we need to see it in slow motion to actually see it happen . As it is, it just flashes, and then poof, all gone

Huh! I cheated the firewall using jumpto with who I have a very old -depleted- account (but they still give me 250MB per month for free, as to anyone). Sorry, could not stand it anymore .

Correction: My work, if you access the 300M range video, is only the bright-yellow bar (69 bits) which appears at the end in the middle of 330 column.

How would a first class physicist with digital signal processing
experience be deterred by such things?

Except that I try to put things as plainly and unpretentiously as I can.
