As far as I can tell, you and I monitor GIMPS progress as close as anyone else.
What I'd like to know Mr Football Man (fabulous Dylan song BTW) is what do you do about the 55/57M TF holdup.

This is weird...

I guess not so long ago the Thresholds for double-check assignments got changed. This is the new threshold:

Preferred exponents are below: 26,000,000

Since GPU272 can't do the exponent shuffle between a known "preferred" worker and an Anonymous worker, this means exponent below 26M won't be available anymore to GPU2DC, which is a shame!

I'm curious if we will still get those bad factored exponent below 26M

Well I just did a test and set my PC to get 90 days of DC work. One of the exponent I got was only factored to 68 bit while 4 were only factored to 67. So one as to wonder if GPU272 ever got those "preferred" exponent?

So did we ever get one of those Preferred exponent? I don't remember ever seeing the 24M or 44M range on the available report.

GPU272 Feature request:

1) Can we have a similar page as on Primenet to view what are the current threshold for the system?

Here are some ideas:

Number of DC reserved
Number of LL reserved
Max Number of P-1 reserved where N bit >= X (currently i think its 250 at 72 bit)
Any other system rules we don't get to see (are we still releasing 71 bit exponent > 55M early?)

2) Also a released exponent map would be awesome. Something like the available report but for exponent released and their bit level.

The LL/DC available report points to an early release at 54M

Any reason why we are now keeping over 450 exponent (and still growing) while previously we reserved only 50? Our throughput of 39 & 121 for LL/DC over the previous month would not justify it neither would the number of exponent reserved (195 & 310)?

BTW the different report don't seem to agree on the number of assigned exponent:

Workers LL assigned : 195

LL Candidates Reserved for LL Workers: 184

While I'm nitpicking may as well tell you about this one too!

If we add the numbers in the workers report for a specific work type (LL)

I get respectively (user diamonddave)

69: 761
70: 1,270
71: 31
72: 31
73: 1
Factor: 23

This adds up to: 2093 (2116 if we include the factors)

Yet if I click my name and look at the top summary:

I get

Completed: 2068
Factors: 23

This adds up to: 2068 (2091 if we include the factors)

I would guess that when a worker gets assigned an exponent from 70 to 72 it only get's counted once in the summary (IF and only if, the results are not split)
