There are many P-1 proofs available right now. Somebody has been checking for factors of the Brent +1 numbers, and many primes of the form (a^p+1)/(a+1) have recently shown up in the PRP list. N-1 is divisible by (a^(p-1)-1)/(a-1), which has algebraic factors for all divisors of p-1. I set up the proof a half dozen, but don't have more time to play with this right now.

There's a copyright infringement on your website, which will probably soon be corrected (if not by you then by google).

Don't even think of reporting that file to anyone! I did that because Marcel ticked me off when he took it off his site! I wanted it to be available in case any Windows users needed to re-download Primo. I will only delete it if Marcel puts it back on Ellipsa.eu, otherwise it stays on there as a backup mirror. I'm sick of programs being discontinued!

Off-topic: Where can I get the Google toolbar for Firefox?

So you are taking your free google website for granted? Have you even read the google's license when you registered? They have set up the rules for you to follow. Posting a stolen program is worse than posting pornography.

You are going to try google's patience? That's funny. Because they have solid policies in place. They will not just shut down your site - they will blacklist you. Good luck finding another host and shoot yourself in the foot by being a jerk there too.

P.S. Btw. The word "Programs" is spelled "Programs"

I deleted it, but I hope Marcel will re-up it on his site someday. This is getting to be more annoying than listening to a cockatiel screaming.

Is it hard to understand that the more unpleasant towards him, and annoying, you'll be, the less he'll be willing to ever put the file back up ?
Your copyright violation was yet another outright rude and disrespectful, not to mention clueless, move.

You should stop being so obnoxious. Do you realize that you've spent far more time and energy on complaining and committing copyright violations (without any result on the Primo front, in fact probably a negative result) than you would have if you had downloaded some no-fee virtualization software for Windows (VMWare Player or Virtualbox) and some Linux distro (ISO or pre-made image), and used the latter on the former, to benefit from up-to-date Primo and lots of other Linux programs while keeping the familiar Windows environment you seem to be so hell bent on ?
Installing a virtualization program + Linux is an easy matter of less than half an hour - if your Internet connection isn't fast enough, it easily takes more time to download these than to install them...
What's more, in the process I'm describing, not only you'd have learnt more things, but also, you wouldn't have painted yourself as a rude prick in front of dozens of persons (both for being obnoxious, and refusing to take on simple opportunities to learn and hone your skills).

He is definitely not the only one who sees your behaviour this way, sir. You made a reasonable effort to get a windows binary, then a few unreasonable ones. There are tools available to run Primo on a windows machine, described in this quoted post. Use them.

1987 digit prime proved by n+1 = 2^4 *3^5*5^2*7*13*29*89*2593* 3838477045522193 * 454299977009351966000178762001^66
