Team sieve #30: c156 from 283752:i7004

In the spirit of giving everyone something to keep them busy....

283752 is currently being driven by 2^3 * 3. However, 7004 is the 16th line with the driver having the form 2^3 * 3^2; accordingly, there is a 50% chance of an escape on the next line. unconnected reported doing 1.5*t55 worth of ECM work and LaurV performed the poly search.

Got a poly after about a week. Is it (relatively) good? How good? How long the sieving will take on two cores of a core2 3Gigs? (about) Can that be taken as a "one man job?" Maybe I will give it a try....

Yes that is a good poly. My expected murphy score for a number of this size is about 2.71e-12 and your poly is 2.81e-12, so that is good. You should use ggnfs siever 14e and sieve on the -a side starting from specialq 15M until you have gathered 56M raw relations. Sieving will take about 3 to 4 weeks on your two cores, and the matrix about 2 days using msieve.

OK, sounds good. I'm in the final stages of a c153; ETA for completing sieving is Monday at the latest. I'll start sieving on this after that..... My c153 is going at ~3.5M rels/day, so I'm not exactly a speed demon.

What's your ETA? I'm getting ~3+ rels/special_q, so with my 10 currently and your potential 60, that should be enough.

I'm about 75% done, so the ETA is later today sometime. [edit: about 7 hours from now]

I'll also offer to do the post processing... if you still want it henryzz, say the word and I'll upload my relations. otherwise, I'll grab schickel's and finish it.

Sounds good, though henryzz may be away until later today, so he may not respond 'til later. Also, I won't be able to start uploading until after work this evening.

And, if possible, I had only just started hitting the 20M+ range, so it might pay to run the 21-25M range if you can....
