Many Thanks, Bill! I see it now, right under Mr. P-1's hamster.

I don't know why that was chosen, but I remember it as the Swiss country code.

The forum linked is a mix of serious OC types trying to cope with the Bulldozer problems, perhaps in combination with particular motherboards, and some Intel fans razzing them for not having an i-something. There are counter arguments and ultimately, cooler heads trying to contain spots of flame war.

It does seem that, as Nucleon said, there are problems with a common BIOS. Cool n Quiet is only supposed to throttle the CPU (via multiplier) when the system is idle. Apparently, unlike Phenom IIs, you can't shut it off in BIOS with a Bulldozer.

EDIT:.....and it's throttling at full load under extreme OC's. The users range from air coolers, to water, to chilled water, to liquid gas users.

Thanks, knowing a FX-8150 is about equivalent to a SandyBridge Core i5 lets me work out which to buy. I don't think the price I saw will be quite low enough to be worth buying.
