How do I get mac to see 2nd physical processor?

I think my mac is only seeing physical one processor. I tried editing the local.txt NumCpus=2 but it didn't seem to change anything. I have 2 physical 4 core processors for 8 cores and 16 with hyper threading...

Try setting NumCPUs=8
