S512 is done to 1M, and S128, to 1.285M (or 9/7M, if you will).
Sadly, no prime existed in this interval for k=5 and (n%7==3 || n%9==0). These bases are released. |

S126 base tested upto n=2500 and k upto 776700, 3975 k left by my count ( err notepad line count).
pl_prime sent to gd_barnes. Does anything else is needed? Testing remaining k between 888 and 600,000 upto n=10,000 Last fiddled with by gd_barnes on 2013-06-17 at 22:49 Reason: 3977 -> 3975 |

modify that to the whole rage, from 888 to 776700.

Magenta (Phillip),
Welcome to CRUS! ![]() Since this is the first post that you have made in the forum, before I officially reserve the base for you, can you introduce yourself, give us an idea of your processing power, how you intend to test the base (sieving and testing programs), and how high you intend to search it? With 175 k's remaining at n=25K, S151 is quite a bit of work for most people. Thank you. Gary Last fiddled with by gd_barnes on 2013-07-09 at 05:02 |

Sorry for the lack on information. I can understand that a lot of people sign up and never complete their work. I am Phillip and I live in Virginia, USA. I enjoy searching for prime numbers in my spare time. I have access to approximately 25-30 four-core machines, when they are available, which I use for mathematical computation. I am using srsieve for sieving (complete) and pfgw for testing/proving. It appears that these are popular programs and I have been using pfgw for many years. I thought that 25k was small enough that some progress could be made fairly quickly ( currently, I have found 35 primes between 25k and 50k and 30 more primes between 50k and 100k). Is there a certain time that one looks for in reserving a range? I predict 3-5 months to complete this assignment. Is that reasonable? I would like to reserve S151 to 200K. |
