Why was ET_ Banned? I looked up his posts and couldn't find any wrong ones.

'Banned' is simply a tongue-in-cheek signature. He is not banned.

Truly banned nics are shown in purple

the problem is not when u banned ( here ) ...
be worse when changing direction and remix u posts
on u way to expose their concepts ...
this date for us to be "in-support-able" unbearable ...

I enjoyed the dubious distinction of a 7day ban a year or so ago.

I received a PM kindly informing me that he was fed up
with dealing with the traffic of complaints (I was encouraged by/encouraging HRB at the time).

The (presumed) Supermod concerned declined to identify him(/her)self.

Maybe this is standard practice and/or a collective decision,
or the author assumed I would know him.

If the latter, I narrowed it down to George, Ernst, Paul, William
or one of the snakes/gerbils.

That happened long ago, when I became aware of some piece of information related to MODS and disclosed them. I was not really banned, though: just a joke-reminder about not disclosing anything anymore... I guess.
