I just came across p-1 testing. There seem to be two stages and it seems to be searching for factors near some specified bounds, if i got that right.
I read a message like "3.2% chance to find a factor". Is this chance for both stages combined? Or 3.2% for stage 1 and another 3.2% for stage 2? The prime95 help file doesn't say much about that IIRC. |

3.2% chance would be your chance of finding a factor after running both stage 1 and stage 2
