Default HDT55TWFK6DGR voltage and round off error

From http://products.amd.com/pages/deskto...il.aspx?id=652
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T
OPN Tray HDT55TWFK6DGR
OPN PIB HDT55TWFGRBOX
Revision E0
Core Speed (MHz) 2800
Voltages 1.075-1.375
Max Temps (C) 71
Wattage 95 W

So AMD says this processor is 1.375v.

Wikipedia says 1.425v
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...C_Hexa-core.29

I had mine running a 1.375v and it ended up making hardware mistakes. I had Prime95 64-bit running 3 threads of first time test and two of the threads gave an error and continued from last save file.
ERROR: ROUND OFF (0.5) > 0.40

Passes MemTest overnight, passes 6 core torture test for a few hours and then 1 core will report an error.

So I now have the voltage at 1.400v and it seems stable.

Is it okay to keep going on the first time checks or better to start them over?

Thanks,

Rick

RickC,

If you have just started these LL tests (e.g. < 20% done), I would restart the one with the error messages over again from the beginning. First time and double check LL tests with errors are "always" viewed with some suspicion.

Default possible answer

This site lists two max voltages, one without Turbo Core, one with Turbo Core.

http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K10/AM...TWFGRBOX).html

1.075 - 1.375 (at rated frequency)
1.225 - 1.425 (Turbo Core mode)

Maybe my motherboard wants the frequency entered including Turbo Core.
