  1. Get coupon for $X of free ads at Google or Bing or both.

I actually did this. I used a free coupon for $100 in ads at Bing, and it nearly maxed out my referral bonus in 1.5 days. It's easy to set a max spending limit so that it doesn't go over the coupon value. With that plus bonus space from photo uploads and edu promotions, I'm currently at 29.2 GB in my free account.

4K? Luxury! Now we had it tough...

I've written code in 2k ROM and (almost) all the RAM internal to a Z80 cpu. Even I didn't stoop as low as to use the DRAM refresh counter as RAM, though I know someone who did. Knowing how and what to put into it so as to get the right value out again in the fullness of time is seriously deep magic.
