LL-D attempts and successes

I am curious as to the meaning of "success" (or, more particlarly, it's complement) when applied to the top LL-D producer's page.

I've spent about 75Ghz-days completing 3 LL checks, but the table says I've made 3 attempts and 2 successes. What does a "not success" mean?

Did I miss a pointer somewhere?
