What's up with the version 23.8 file in the gimps ftp directory? It's only got a prime95.exe file. No descriptions etc. Is this a new version

I believe it is a test fix George made for a particular user with a special networking problem. It is not a new version AFAIK.

doesn't George ussualy make most modifications to the client during the summer?
