Wink How to thrash your computer =)

Run a game, recover memory, and run P-1 factoring at the same time (must be stage 2).

Run for your life =)

Last weekend I loaded up Sports Car GT and raced an entire season before I realised that prime95 was still crunching in the background.

I was really impressed because SCGT creates a ramdrive and loads the track, the cars, and the a.i.'s, plus all the images.

A couple of times it would completely disappear instead of starting the race, but it's done that before without prime95.

And my iteration rate only changed from 0.063 to around 0.087.

Next time I'll have to run my factoring program as well . . .

For me, Battle Field 1942, Unreal Tournament 2003, Enemy Territory, Sim City, 2000, 3000, 4, and Serious Sam SE all run perfect with Prime95 doing its thing in the background. I don't think it has caused me problems with performance, ever.

I played UT, halflife, CT, and it seems prime just stops working(I have a high number for iterations before screen outputs..)

Older games seem to take less CPU and keep prime95 at a steady pace(but slower..)
