i would suggest that Syd delete the cert for that number ... but it's been a while since Syd has come.

As to the certificates, with all the work being done, we are losing ground rather fast. Although the lower bound has effectively moved up to 17xx, the overall number of PRPs has grown greatly in the last couple months. Now, with a core 2 running Ellipsa, it is taking around 30 minutes per certificate. I'm losing interest in this endeavour and will probably retask that machine at some point. |

I see there hasn't been any communication here, but there is still (sometimes heavy) activity in the db in the area of certificates. Not only did I not retask my 64-bit machine, but I now have two 24-hour "Ellipsa" systems and one ~16-hour running. Occasionally someone will grab some lesser (3xx digit) numbers, but if I see no one else doing anything for a while, I go ahead and knock down the smaller ones, but my main drive currently is topping the 18xx digit range. I see some spurious activity here and there and would like to know if anyone is working a particular range near me that I should avoid as I move upward. I'm expecting to reach 1900 within a few days.
Also, if someone else would like to run the lesser numbers (maybe the 3xxs), perhaps with a 32-bit system, let me know so I can leave the 3xx section alone. Otherwise, I'll continue to knock them down when they accumulate. |

I saw where you were working so I jumped to just over 2K. I was mostly doing some testing with alpha-16 but it ended up being user error. :-(
May not run anymore for a while. |

Wow! What a great job and personal effort by EdH surpassing 100,000 certificates.

Beginners' question: Is it possible to zip up many primo .out files in one archive and upload and that's all there is to do?
EDIT: May there be several candidates in one .out file as well? Last fiddled with by Puzzle-Peter on 2013-03-29 at 10:30 |

If you download a batch of candidates from the database and run them through primo. The output from that can be zipped and uploaded. I remember it being funny about having too much at once. |

Do not edit the .out files. You can upload a zip file, but I'm not sure if that can contain many .out files, or just one. Try it and see.

you can put as many cert you want in a .zip file,as long as you check the 'zip' checkboxx
and the final file xoesn't exceed 200 mbits. Check the report result, upload certoficate page. Last fiddled with by firejuggler on 2013-03-29 at 12:58 |

OK, now I know what confused me. Doing XXL certificates I never needed or wanted to process several candidates in a row. I thought I needed a .in file with several candidates. Now I realize I simply multi-select when loading the .in file(s).
Thanks for the replies! |
