Oh, I forgot to mention: Oddball, you can mark me down for team "Raiders of the Lost Primes". I expect Flatlander and Mini-Geek will wish to be marked down for ROLP as well.

LOL--I have actually been doing a bit of CD burning, which has been stealing some processing power, but only from my dualcore--the other two are not readily physically accessible and thus wouldn't really lend themseles to stuff like CD burning or, of course, video editing.

The battle between Max and Flatlander is really close (2462 vs. 2458 pairs for today, as of 22:00 CMT). Lennart is also quickly moving up the ranks, despite entering the rally late.
As they say, it ain't over 'till it's over

I just found 3 out of 4 cores inactive on my laptop and the other one saying that www.noprimeleftbehind.net doesn't exist. I haven't checked the other machines yet. Oh, well. ![]() edit: I've just noticed Lennart's 5646. ![]()

I had forgotten to set
"set op_connect=TRUE" on two PCs. The internet connection must have dropped overnight.

(Well, at least as of now...it may turn the other way when today's counts are factored in.)BTW: did you get the "noprimeleftbehind.net doesn't exist" problem resolved? That sounds like some kind of DNS error...you may want to try plugging in the IP directly (74.62.165.120). |

I haven't managed to get the kids' PC back on yet, so I expect your total will be higher. The only way I had managed to stay in front of you was by overclocking my quad but I couldn't stand the noise so I'm at stock again. I'll have to get a Sandy Bridge lol. |
