23.8 is an mprime as well as a prime95 version - it is the latest prime95 version.
Apart from that, when he tries to execute a Linux binary under Windows, a "Primenet error 2252" would be last one could expect.

Well I hope there's some cure to this error because I have been addicted!! Since i know about prime95. I feel unfortable to feel the computer at idle without doing something useful.

Go to http://mersenne.org/range2.htm and grab yourself a few exponents to test. You can email the results and get new exponents every few months.

I have been running Primenet on my PC for a year now and internittently got this 2252 error...however for the last 4 or 5 days it has been continual as follows:
Contacting Primenet server
Getting Exponents from server
ERROR: Priment error 2252
The process to update the completion dates seems to be workng so that tells me I am getting through.
