Version 23.8 seemed to solve these 2252 problems. Have you tried that version?

Hi, I am running Prime95 Version 29.8.1, have very similar computer setup and have the same error 2252.
Also, when I click on Help>About PrimeNet Server... I get a MessageBox saying "Unable to get version information from PrimteNet server."

I am also using Singnet broadband. Never had this problem before.

After adding in the primenet.ini file with the Debug=1 entry, this is the output to my log.

[Mon Oct 18 10:43:36 2004 - ver 23.8]
host = proxy.supermegacorp.com, port = 8080
IP-addr = 24.4.191.34
Error in connect call: 10060

Error 10054 is a rather uninformative "connection reset" error.

Delete the Proxy lines from primenet.ini or change the proxy.supermegacorp.com info to whatever proxy information is appropriate for you.

i deleted the primenet.ini when the log says:

ERROR: Primenet error 2252

since i don't need a proxy (at least that's what i think) i don't really know what i can do now.

BTW, is there anyone using singnet in Singapore as ISP that has prime95 able to connect to primenet????

isint 29.8 a linux version mprime what are u useing if ur on windows u need windows client.

Prime95 P90 years forever! Aug 2002 Yeehaw, FL 8279₁₀ Posts	Version 23.8 seemed to solve these 2252 problems. Have you tried that version?
