12hrs? I'll leave you guys to decide. I'll be going to bed soon!

I got thrown out of a 20-questions game for making the following observation.

A large English language dictionary, Chambers for example, contains fewer than 2^19 distinct words. Binary search on the longest word in the hash will find that word in at most 19 questions. If there is only one word, game over. The same exercise on the second longest word takes at most 19 more questions. (The second search could be optimised if joint probability distributions are taken into account). It's rather unlikely that the last two questions would be required.

Of course I get to have as much sleep as I want. What if I, ahem, never woke up? You could:
1) try to crack the sha1
2) but it might be quicker if the kind person that sent me my 'GIMPS FINDS PRIMES' badges writes a letter to my wife asking her to look at the answer in the text file on my desktop.
3) always wonder what it was. (Remember this thread?)

Maybe we should have a rule 'anyone who wants to set a question should have a medical first.' I had my blood-pressure taken 2 weeks ago if that counts. "Fine" apparently. (Or was it "You have 2 weeks to live." I always get those mixed up.)

Let's take advantage of your current consciousness then:
