He's trying to help by telling you that you're not getting anywhere with this line of questioning. And we have very few questions left. Please try to think what sort of question might provide the real breakthrough!

I know I'm not supposed to offer clues but I don't want you to waste the last few questions trying to narrow it down to a specific year. It won't help you in the slightest. Try another approach.

36) is this completely retarded? as if it had more than one production since then he lied to all my questions and made my line flawed either way. so i see no harm in asking.

If there is a false assumption, or the question makes no sense [or is ambiguous], or some other thing that makes the question irrelevant then the answerer is free to answer either yes or no as they please (perhaps answering in such a way as to maximise confusion if they want)
Forget all about 'when it was invented'.

all that rule says to me is if it's other and you think it's man made don't ask because it could counted as assuming and be a useless question.

for example first question guessed off the top of a head with no prior knowledge other than class, effectively assuming so the answer is allowed to be falsified all answers after that are falsifiable as the question is based on false answering. and any answer from the first on can be falsified at random giving 0 information leading to nothing known for sure.

by the way I swear I've had a dream about this one night takes to round 5 I think to sort things out.

and people say I have bad logic but this takes the cake a question game where asking a question get's you a random falsifiable answer making all questions useless, and a random guess the best answer.
