Default 40 Questions - Round 1

From the 20 questions thread:

  • 40 questions
  • Absolutely strictly Yes/No only. No hints allowed. No "nope"s, or "yeah"s etc. No clarifications. No bold, italic, underlines. Just plain text of "Yes" or "No"
  • If there is a false assumption, or the question makes no sense [or is ambiguous], or some other thing that makes the question irrelevant then the answerer is free to answer either yes or no as they please (perhaps answering in such a way as to maximise confusion if they want).
  • More?
No reason why this can't run concurrently with 20 questions.
I'm going to change the rules for this one, 4 hour sit-outs instead of 24. Then we can see if this works or not a bit quicker. Anyone who asks a question before their 4 hrs is up gets an answer of my choice.

Strictly question, answer, question, answer ... A "yes" answer means you get to ask another question. If you don't ask again within 8 hours someone else can step in.
The only other comments allowed are suggested changes to the rules or requests for rule clarifications.

I'll start with "Mineral". I don't think it is too hard so I expect an exact answer.

edit: I didn't realise there was still ongoing discussion about starting this. I apologize if I've stepped on anyone's toes.

Hehe, I wonder if attacking the hash will work ...

(2) Is your hash input string just one word?

Never mind. We'll see how it plays out. We can adjust the rules based upon feedback from this trial.
