They're shooting the pier
At Rincon they're walking the nose
Were going on safari to the islands this year
So if you're coming get ready to go

Huntington Beach, Surf City, USA, home to a major annual competition. Located in Orange County (the OC), south of Los Angeles
Malibu, a beach in Los Angeles area.
Shooting the pier, surfing amongst the pilings that hold up the pier. Very dangerous and generally against the law.
Rincon a beach north of Los Angeles in Ventura.
Walking the nose = moving from the rear/mid area of the surf board up to the front. This is a lead up to 'hanging ten', placing one's toes off the nose of the board.

They're anglin' in Laguna in Cerro Azul
They're kicking out in Doheny too
I tell you surfings mighty wild
Its getting bigger every day
From Hawaii to the shores of Peru

Anglin', surfing across the face of the wave, as opposed to riding it straight in.
Laguna, another beach in Orange County, California, further south than Huntington.
Cerro Azul could refer to "the blue hill" of a wave or Cerro Azul in Peru, a famous surf spot.
Kick Out: To push down on the tail of a surfboard to lift and turn the nose over the top of the wave.
Doheny is a beach further south than Laguna. It is by Dana Point, which is named for Richard Henry Dana, who wrote Two Years Before the Mast. A brief quote from said book: "The Californians are an idle, thriftless people, and can make nothing for themselves."
