Excellent! To the next person - don't forget that humans can be found in most zoos too
, are faster than 25mph and are from another order. The faster-than-25mph casts doubts on sloths, anteaters and armadillos |

The average lifespan of less than 35 years rules out humans and a few other animals.
To recap, it's a placental mammal that's taller than 4 feet, dangerous to humans, and is found in most zoos (but not at the Minnesota zoo, according to the lWikipedia link that Oddball posted). It also can run faster than 25MPH, and its average lifespan is less than 35 years. There are 7 questions left. edit: I forgot to add that it's not of the Caniformia suborder. 13-Q recap:
(3) Does it live primarily on land? Yes (4) Is it a carnivore (including omnivores)? Yes (5) Is it commonly kept as a pet? No (6) When it's fully grown, is it taller than four feet? "yes from what I've found on it it is." (7) Can it be found in most zoos? "yes by the looks of what I've found." (8) Can it run faster than 25 MPH? "yes it appears so." (9) Is it dangerous to humans? Yes (10) Is it one of the animals on this list? No [note that these are specific species, so it could still be closely related to any of these] (11) Is it a placental mammal? Yes (12) Is it of Caniformia suborder? No [Caniformia means "dog-like", includes canines, bears, etc.] (13) Is its average lifespan longer than 35 years? "according to my sources no." (questions 1 and 2 were superseded by 11, it'd be redundant to include them) For a sentence-style recap, I'll quote MooMoo2: Quote:
See Feliformia at Wikipedia for a list of cat-like groups of animals.
