Error reading P-1 save file?

I installed Prime95 on my 2nd machine. It pass self test.
After it runs P-1 for about 45 minutes (and completing some 15% of P-1 1st stage) I restarted my machine. After I start Prime95 again I get following error message:

"Error reading P-1 save file"

And P-1 starts from begining.

Is this normal behavior or something is wrong with my machine or my set up?

Every time I restart Prime95 it report same error and start P-1 factoring from the begining.

I check result file. Everything is saved there (if result file is P-1 save file).

I reinstalled Prime95. It started P-1 from the begining, but at least now it can read from P-1 save file (I try restarting and it continue from previously saved position).

Hope it will work fine now.

I am having this exact same problem. am running two copies of prime 24.14 on diffewrent cores and received the "error reading p-1 save file" on the first copy after restart.

I rebooted and the first copy read fine but the second copy "sent this same error"

please help
