Max, port 12000 is also dry. Good Time to update the prpnet server at a newer version ;)

100G-200G has been loaded into the port 13000 server--sorry for the wait.

Port 12000 is coming soon--I'll try to get the server upgrade in as well if I can.

Is there any more interest in this project? I see that little to no work has been done on port 13000 in over 6 months. If there is no interest, I will shut down the server.

There hasn't been much interest since ports 12000 and 12050 are both dry. I'm sure someone would love testing those low k, low n variable ranges - the LLR times are pretty damn fast compared to most prime finding projects.

I'm talking about PRPnet port 13000. It is still up and running. Is anyone interested in running this project on PRPnet? I'll leave it running until this coming Sunday. If there are no testers by then, I will shut it down.

I'm not going to run 3 servers on a project with such little interest so ports 12000 and 12050 have been out of business for a long time. n=1M primes are no longer top-5000, which is likely what caused the lack of interest.

Go ahead and shut down port 13000 if there are no testers by Sunday. Heck, shut down port 12050 as well if no one here objects.

But it would be a good idea to restock port 12000 and see if there's interest in it. If not, then let it go the way of ports 12050 and 13000.

Ports 12000 and 12050 have been shut down for a long time due to lack of interest.

If you want to send me the latest file for port 12000, I'll load it up and restart it. We could then re-evaluate port 12000 and 13000 in early March.

Edit: I will not remove the primes or results from the machine so that information would still be available even if all ports are shut down.

Thanks. Is there any chance of getting the stats back for port 12000 once it's restarted, or is that information all gone?

Load n=490-499K for k=100K-200K.

Thanks. Is there any chance of getting the stats back for port 12000 once it's restarted, or is that information all gone?
I have started port 12000 again. The stats are all there. But I have not loaded anything. The file is too large for me to manually manipulate. I do not have a program to extract exactly what needs to be loaded. Please provide exactly the file that I need to load.

One other issue: I have loaded PRPnet servers many times for "regular" searches at NPLB and CRUS. The file header for those searches is simply something to the effect of:
ABC $a*2^$b-1

I do not know what the PRPnet header should look like when loading for a twin prime search. Do you know? I see that the .ini file for the server is set for a twin prime search so I'm wondering if the header is the same as above and the server just "knows" to test both the -1 and +1 side of things (if the -1 side is prime). If you're not sure, I'll see if I can contact Max. He's hard to find these days.

The servertype is passed to the client. The client will do the one test and if the number is prime, will do the other test immediately.
