IMO, a fixed n search for twins isn't exotic.

Well, compared to your run-of-the-mill non-twin search, any twin search is somewhat "exotic". I suppose it's a matter of degree. (A triplet or quad search, for instance, would be respectively more exotic... )

I've included a new page with primes of the form k*b^b+1 at Riesel DataBase (menu 'Interests').

A page for k*b^b-1 will follow.

PS: I included a table with the first k-value > 10000 where the base b had none for k<=10000.

Big deal. Allow them to laugh. It has no influence on me.

Excellent update; Any exact completion date for the -1 analogues of the k-b-b's?

I'll work on b = 1001 to 1250.

Trial-dividing to 1048576.

Whenever I happen to finish; Check the work for verification.

Since you're a moderator; Why not walk the walk and delete the 90% of the posts you wanted deleted?

He's not a moderator of this forum (Misc Math). OT is. So, only OT or supermods can do anything here.

Well, I'm up to b = 1005.

This can be done within a few days.

Why? It's a question accordingly to the results here and I don't know if anybody has solved/proved this before.
