For ecm, the number of curves run are approximate guides anyway, so I often simply use the method of rerunning the ecm if less than half done and skipping it with the -e if more than half done (If you forget to look at the ecm log and run another, then it is overwritten and you have to guess how much was done).

Another technique to skip the lower level ecm is (in windows) to use the task manager to 'end task' the ecm projects until you get to the higher levels. I would think kill could be used in unix as well. So if you know it was up to the 11e6 step before, you can use end task until you get back to that level.

When I run aliqueit (at least <1.10) in all my linux distributions, CTRL+C only kills the current ECM. I have to close the terminal to stop aliqueit. I often use aliqueit.log to see where it was previously interrupted and use CTRL+C until I get to the same run when I restart.

It's not needed, and at the moment reporting groups of factors isn't working (whether this is just due to a backlog or a bug, and so whether factors submitted now will be added, I don't know).

The backup I used is about 5 days old - all factors added after that wont appear. Of cause you can submit them manually if you want, but its not needed, in a week or so I'll add all missing ones automatically.

The command might look like "ecm -c 447 -one 1000000" and then you paste the c102, press enter, and it starts looking for factors of the c102, using 447 ECM curves with B1=1e6, stopping if it finds a factor.
<snip>
or if you want to avoid adding a '0' too much, you can set your B1 with 1e6, 3e6, 26e7...

Hey again,
I got the programs to work a couple of days ago. I had to put in the full path for msieve, not just msieve. And yes, I do have use_msieve_polyfind = true. I am at 108 digits for 63282 and hope to get it up to a 110 digits by the end of tomorrow. Its been stuck on a 2^2*7 driver and rising very slowly.
Anyway, I'm going to reserve 64740 and put it on my other core for now.

The sequence 64740 has reached 111 digits so I am releasing it. I uploaded it to the database, but I do not see my new factors up yet. Maybe it just takes some time...

I am attaching the .elf file (as a text) in case some one else who knows what they are doing wants to try uploading it. Sequence 63282 is at 109 digits, so I should be uploading that one soon also.

I am now reserving 60384.
