109T-111T complete:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/10q30d I'll get 118T-120T and let amphoria or someone else fill up the 114T-118T gap. Once that gap and my range are done, phase 1 will be complete, and the 0-120T files will be sieved only for twins. |

That's what happens when you have the forum set to display 100 messages per page.
![]() In that case I will take 40T-60T for stage 2. It looks like the target for stage 2 is 45T based on my sieving of 0-20T. I am currently at 40.2T and am removing 0.3 sec per k with the very occasional increase to 0.4 sec per k. The target is based on 0.4 sec per k as that appears to be where there is no difference between fastarray mode and array mode on the processor I am doing the testing on. The idea, as first suggested by Oddball, is to merge all 6 files together once stage 2 is complete. There are currently 13.49M k's remaining so the resulting file will probably contain 78-80M k's. However, the file size will be less than 2 GB NewPGen limit. Last fiddled with by amphoria on 2010-07-13 at 19:55 |

0-20T sieving is now complete to p=45T. There are 13.4M k's remaining.
http://www.sendspace.com/file/1p4vm5 Note this was sieved on a very fast computer that I don't normally use for sieving as I wanted to get a sieving target for stage 2. 40T-60T is being sieved on a laptop and is proceeding very slowly in comparison - but as Oddball stated at the start of this project there is no rush! I see that gribozavr hasn't uploaded the stage 2 files yet, so I will upload the remaining ones from work tomorrow. My home internet connection is ADSL so the upload speed is not great. |

Stage 2 files @ p=100B.
20T-40T: http://www.sendspace.com/file/uat1m5 40T-60T: http://www.sendspace.com/file/fasz0k 60T-80T: http://www.sendspace.com/file/xqyrij 80T-100T: http://www.sendspace.com/file/fd1u01 100T-120T: http://www.sendspace.com/file/9lf61o I have uploaded 40T-60T even though I have reserved it so that I am not the only one holding the master files. |

60T-80T gives the error:
"Opened the input file - counting the number of k's and finding the range of k... The numbers in the file are not strictly increasing : I saw 60000001535775 followed by -387009561795827639!" So I'm taking 80T-100T, which is fine. (100T-120T not checked.) Last fiddled with by Flatlander on 2010-07-15 at 10:34 Reason: clarification |

Will we report factors by uploading new sieve files or by uploading factors themselves? Uploading factors is a bit safer, because at any point of time we can tell why was the number removed.
amphoria: I've compared you files to mine and they match, except for 60T-80T (it wasn't sorted and contained some junk lines). Here's a correct one: 60T-80T: http://www.sendspace.com/file/8loyk4 |
