During the torture test I get this message in the main menu:
Error opening results file to output this message : Unable to open log file. What can I do to fix this problem? Related to this , where is the log file when an error is detected? Tks |

The log file is located in the same directory as the program (unless you manually modify one of the configuration files by adding an option.)
The program cannot open or create the log file. This might happen if you run it from a read only media (CD or DVD or if you do not have enough rights.) Because of the security settings of Windows Vista and Seven it is best to install the program prime95 in a sub-folder of your documents folder. If you are using Unix or Linux you must ensure that the program has write rights in the folder where it is installed. It's perfectly normal that no log or results files are there immediately after extraction, since they're only created when Prime95 has something to log (when it runs). Prime95 won't show up in an uninstaller because it was simply extracted to a folder, it wasn't installed in a way that would tell an uninstaller how to uninstall it. You don't need to reinstall Prime95, you just need to get it working right where it is. |

It works like you said after I moved the Prime95 folder outside of the Program folder.
Thanks very much. |

It seems that these 2 threads are nearly the same problem.
