Hello....

started "prime95" some moments ago and it tells me right after the start that worker 2 doesn't work.
What does this mean?
And could there be a coherence between this message and the BSOD 0x00000124 wich appears almost in every newer game i want to play?

I read about disabling a so called C1E Option in BIOS but either i don't have this option or its named anything else in my BIOS.

Im a little bit concerned because this system isnt a year old and i didn't overclock it.

Hope somebody is able to help ( german could be usefull :D )
THX

My system (Cpu-z):
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ (1,376V, FSB 200,9Mhz)
ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe
4,0 Gb Ram (Already did "memtest" without any problems)
ATI Radeon HD 4850

Is your machine dusty inside?
What are the temperatures?
What type of CPU cooler are you using?

Try memtest86. It could be higher memory that isn't used much until you load it up.

I guess it may be a problem in restoring FPU register while playing.
There is a switch to automatically stop Prime95 from running when other programs (like games) are run.

Oops missed that. Sounds like he is back to overheating problems then. Might wanna try re-seating the heat sink if its not mounted quite right or the grease isn't quite right.

THX for your comments sp far.

After discussing it with a friend I decide to buy a new cooler (now its the ATi Standard Cooler - dont know fabrication).

Think im going to buy this one: http://www.arctic-cooling.com/catalo...h=1_43&mID=246

but, honestly, i cant imagine this would help.
My temps are quite high because of a broken and late mentioned retantion modul.

Coretemp: #1 60°
#2 55°

and during gaming about +20. But the BSOD for example doesnt appear at Fallout 3 (max set.) But in NBA 2K10, Splinter Cell 3 CT.

Does anybody know what this C1E BIOS option is about?
And what about that aborted "Worker#2"?

THX
