My work on AliWin is progressing well. I reserved 844536 so I could test out some things, since 844536 was only at 80 digits. AliWin worked so well, that 844536 advanced ten digits before I even started AliWin. That's impressive, if I do say so myself.

I appreciate help, but this time it was counter-productive. I suppose it means that I'll have to randomly grab an unreserved number anonomously to do minor tests. I hate to do it that way. Actually,

Mini-Geek, can you set me up, as you did before, for the last line of new numbers?

849072, 849288, 849312, 849654, 849660, 849744, 849810, 849870, 849876

I will drop from this list, any that get reserved, or reserve myself any that I intend to complete.

I do not expect to be doing as much work as before on these numbers, but if MW runs these up for me, I may have to go the random route.

Thanks everyone.

Was this sarcastic, meaning that a mystery worker advanced it 10 digits and threw off your tests? Obviously AliWin can't bring it up 10 digits without running.

Yep, no problem. (but to be technically accurate, previously 10metreh added the notice and I removed it later, so I didn't set up the notice for you before...ah, pedantry )
This notice has been added:
Note: EdH is running sequences in the 849k range for a small distance as a test for his new program. These are still reservable - Ed (says he) will stop working on a sequence when someone reserves it.

I can neither confirm nor deny that AliWin accomplished this task. All I can confirm is that when I finally got AliWin to where I wanted to run it, the number had been advanced from 80 to 90 digits, and the factors were labeled as prp's, so they were relatively new to the db. AliWin is designed to be almost 100% autonomous. Could I have gotten too close to 100% and it ran itself while I was away?

Indeed, I had forgotten it was 10metreh that originally added the note (LIFO). However, you were now the holder of the quote. So, it would be more proper to ask you for it, than to ask 10metreh to raid your post. But, thank you for the correction. I do believe in accuracy.

And, thanks for setting me up with the notice this time. I probably won't be doing a lot with them, but I may just need to advance several a line or two to test things out. And, who knows, maybe they will race up as 844536 did. All help is welcome, yes?

Yes, but I much prefer help that participates with the forum and communicates reservations and whatnot so nobody steps on each other's toes (so to speak). Would save a good bit of trouble, confusion, and duplicate work for everyone, at the cost of a tiny amount of time to the mystery worker.
