S403 is now done to 25K and released. 52 k's are remaining.
Files and residues were emailed. |

Taking S294 out, hoping to extend from n=25k to n=100k. 3 k-values remain.

535*256^109243+1 is prime because 535*2^873944+1 is prime. That prime was found by PrimeGrid. That leaves 831 as the only k remaining for S256. Also note that since PrimeGrid has tested base 2 for k=831 to n=1000000 that it has tested k=831 for base 256 to the equivalent of n=125000.

Taking R256, specifically the 26 in the sieve file that have not been done to n=125000.
BTW, for the k that overlap NPLB, have those been exhaustively tested to their limits on that project? I was under the impression that NPLB had untested gaps. Last fiddled with by rogue on 2011-07-15 at 16:19 |

NPLB only has non-top-5000 gaps for k=2000-3000. Everything else is filled in up to n>=1M (k<1400 by either NPLB or RPS) or n=~735K (k=1400-2000). Because there is a gap for k=2000-3000, I do not reflect NPLBs search range for those k's for base 256. The n=75K testing limit for the k's in that range is how far I tested R256 myself.
