1) I noticed that work is automatically assigned to a tread. rather than queued up for the next available worker thread.
If one thread were to run out would it automatically correct and pull queued work from a different thread? 2) is there anyway to only report findings and not take on new work? I'm in the process of retiring a machine but I have enough time to let this thing finish one more number but i don't want to get a new number assigned when i turn back on primenet reporting. thanks |

Advanced > Quit GIMPS > Yes will finish the current assignments and report them without getting more work. (I think this is equivalent to NoMoreWork=1) Last fiddled with by Mini-Geek on 2010-01-11 at 18:22 |
