George this and George that. How nice.
This is not about him. This is about moral values.

Someone posts, named Paul Underwood: there is a heuristic.
He even says how.

You can make $250k with it and no one jumps on it.

He even posts: "this is how all primes found by Curtis Cooper follow this heuristic."

No one even bothers to investigate on this forum.

Even before it gets investigated in my email box i have already denials that there is any heuristic, without any proof, evidence.

Odds of finding the prime is like 1 in a trillion if you add up all circumstances.

No one however seems to be interested in statistical math nor a heuristic to find mersennes. Weird in a mersenneforum.org huh?

Just a 'no' or 'you are the most silly'.

Disprove the heuristic dude.
Disprove the statistical math.

You can't huh.

"Your claim must include a description of any hardware and software used in the primality test. EFF reserves the right to require a more detailed disclosure. For example, EFF may require evidence that the hardware was used legally, with the owner's permission and support. References to well known hardware and software may be given."

Notice the " 'hardware was used legally' with the owner's permission and support".

"Full disclosure is required
In the interest of promoting the state of the art of computation, those receiving EFF Computation Awards must allow EFF to freely publish their methods, algorithms, source code, scripts and detailed descriptions of hardware without undue restrictions or costs. EFF's publication of this information is intended give others the opportunity to replicate the discovery, as well as to provide a foundation for improving on the results. Proofs that are "for sale" are not acceptable. EFF will not consider proofs that are proprietary or that are encumbered with restrictions that get in the way of their unrestricted re-distribution."

What will be next??

There is a reason for the Wanted Lists. Let's show some respect for John Selfridge (who created the list) by doing some of them.

Including, oddly enough, Paul Underwood and all others who understand the "heuristic", which he was far from the first to propose, and which has been pretty well-detailed for years in existing threads on this forum.

The "heuristic" - really just an apparent statistical bias - is simple enough - why don't *you* "jump on it" and make a quick $250k, instead of spouting off about evil conspiracies?
