Did anyone (eg Garo) catch that performance by Christopher Meyer (sic)
yesterday? Eloquent, colourful, tour de force. If I were I woman I'd want his babies. ![]() David |

I just snatched a few minutes on the telly in the place where I was getting lunch. I did read about it. He is a smart guy and calls it as it is. Greenstock's testimony today was not much less damaging. Not that it makes an iota of difference to the muppets Blair and Brown. Oh well, at least it is out for historical record.

BBC News 24 kept with Sir Christopher for about 1.5 hours without
a break. Normally I mught have dozed off or changed channels, but his delivery (not least his hand gestures) were captivating. I laughed many times. The language he slipped under the radar was hilarious. Asked about what Bush would have done if a US plane in the "No Fly Zone" had been shot down, he uttered (disguised as part of his answer) "Kick the shit out of them" but so quickly that only people like me would pick up on it.
