Seems a new Mega-Prime was found!

Verifying is working: with 2758093 digits it's the 12th place overall primes!

Hmm...by my calculation this will take 10 days (!) to verify using the top-5000's slightly antiquated P4. I know that in the past PrimeGrid has been given "external verification" status for some of their larger primes at the top-5000; all of their workunits have two checks done right away anyway, and they do a PFGW N-1 check on top of it (but with the latest version of PFGW, so it goes rather faster than the top-5000's check). I expect they will do the same for this one, which would speed verification significantly.

I have already contacted Mr. Caldwell. Even before the prime was reported and told him how we checked the prime. It is now on him if he trusts me enough or not to set the verification on external. As this is a manual intervention it is also possible that he only had not found the time to do it.
