The forum interface responded not
As simply as I'd expected. So --

I typed my user name again,
Retyped my entry one more time,
Counted seconds from one to ten,
And hit Submit to our forum prime.

The forum has a fixed IP address.

We applied a forum security patch either yesterday or the day before.

The system was rebooted earlier this month for a kernel upgrade.

The forum was just down for about a minute. Xyzzy, do you know anything about it this time?

Edit: This time siteuptime.com does show one outage. However, 0.285% of July is much more than one minute. Has anyone noticed a ~50-minute outage this month?
