Default Google's Memory report

Google released a study on memory error patterns.

Any analysis done on the output of GIMPs as a whole? i.e. how many GHz-hours aren't matched with a doublecheck?

I really would like to see ECC in consumer priced machines. I don't like the fact that I have to double-to-triple my machine cost to get ECC ram for the same Gflops output.
