Has there ever been a pattern found in the mersenne number for mersenne primes that might help anyone want to help try and find one if not.

Their exponents are all prime. Nothing else.

I see how people can see multiple patterns in it all I see another possible pattern to it from 127 on they fit every second mersenne prime ending in 7 as well. which could mean the next one is as high as 2^ 104079321…168729087 or MM1279.

No. Many have looked for one, but none has been found.

Many have thought they found a pattern, but none has been proven (or else GIMPS would already be using it).

There are types of self-deceptions and cognitive biases that lead to erroneous "detection" of patterns, in not just math but also everyday life in general.

If my new pattern fits it could be able to show a prime as big as MM37,156,667

That's just base 10-specific. In other bases the final digits are different, so your claim is rubbish.

Here is another pattern for you, all Mersenne primes end in either 1 or 7 (except the first of course), maybe you can predict the next MP with this information?

it would be cool to do a sequence of differences for all mersenne primes under M39 I like patterns I'll take a look and see what I might be able to find.

OMG, how could we all have missed it?

ALL MERSENNE PRIMES ARE ODD NUMBERS!!!!!

Go away from the computer back into your playpen and have fun playing with your toys (with patterns on them).

Abolish that thought immediately.
A pattern (at least a successful, viable one) in the Mersenne exponents has not been proven and has eluded Ph.D.s. How can you, a non-Ph.D., think that you have come up with a "successful, viable" pattern in the Mersenne exponents?

This link may be of interest to you: http://primes.utm.edu/mersenne/

In fact, no one has even proven a distribution formula for Mersenne primes (let alone for Mersenne exponents)!
Take a look at this link for more info: http://primes.utm.edu/notes/faq/NextMersenne.html

Unless you are able to use college mathematics (rather than basic high school mathematics) to prove some of your claims (or at least make the least bit of an attempt to), I do not think there is any point in wasting your time and our time with "rubbish" (as 10metreh so eloquently phrases it).
