The current implementation of the throttle parameter turns all cores on and off at the same time. So, if you have "throttle=50" (50%) all cores fire up, work a bit, and then turn off, and so on and so forth.
Is there a way to randomize or stagger the cores so they do not turn on and of at the same time? |

No way to do that at present. I'll add the request to the rather big pile of requested features.
