I'm "borrowing" my work computer to do the builds. I would love to migrate PFGW over to GTk or another U/I framework. That would allow me to break free of Visual Studio and create a GUI for other x86 OS's.

You might want to consider that option for LLR as well. You could then use eclipse to do the builds using gcc as the compiler.

Ah, that makes sense. The binary I included was indeed 32-bit (it came right out of one of my own client directories, and all those are 32-bit), but it seems that Windows 2000 was the problem.

Indeed, as Mark mentioned, cllr is usually plenty for most types of work--PRPnet prefers it for base 2 anyway, and even for other bases it will produce (usually) compatible residues. At times when I've needed to set up a "barebones" client with minimal disk usage, I just included LLR since it covers pretty much everything.

Default Good news for R/S base 2 testing!

Looking at PRPNet status, I see we are now 58 prpclients working for this sub-project, and I think this is very good news!

Best wishes to all for finding a big prime, and Best Regards,
Jean

Sweet! We could definitely use some help around here. We're "overdue" for a nice juicy megabit prime on this server right now.

Is that 58 clients or 58 pending tests?

Default Status of the server

The status of the server seems to change rapidly from time to time ; Presently, I am seeing 65 Riesel and 52 Sierpinski "in progress" !

The list of pending tests is current, but the server stats are updated about once every 20 minutes.

I'm sure that this was 58 pending tests at the time not 58 cores. Most people cache 2 or more tests at a time per core. I think Max caches 3 per core. I cache 2 per core.

But I now see that Lennart has added substantial resources to it so k=60357 has already caught up to the rest of the k's and we're now handing out pairs at n>1.4M!
